 The first of a series of drawings depicting a woman who is connected to nature and a celestial body, in this case she is the sunrise.

the sun slips out of the sky

and lets itself drop into my legs and arms

and welcomes my body

it's that kind of sunrise

that makes my lips turn a shade deeper of wild red

because it promises a renewal of passion:

i open my legs

and the night slips out,

i rise to meet the sun

to taste its power and bathe in its fire;

my back arches in ecstasy, my mouth opens

and i plea -

aurora, kiss me

el sol se deja caer del cielo

sobre mis brazos, mis piernas 

y abraza mi cuerpo 

el calor del amanecer  

enrojece mis labios 

y me promete el renacimiento de mi pasión:

abro mis piernas 

y se escapa la noche,

busco el sol y lo alcanzo,

tomo su fuerza y me baño en su fuego,

abro mi boca y suplico:

aurora, bésame
