About
Hi! My name is Erika, and I'm the artist behind the art and writing on this blog which I created as a home for my erotic art.
My artistic vision is to draw the image of a woman that expresses and owns her sexual energy through her body, and has the power to choose when and with whom to share it.
Erotic energy is potent and beautiful, and when embraced and understood it can open up the body to a spiritual depth and intimacy we rarely perceive in our everyday lives. It truly is a magical, transformative force worth exploring.
My sensual journey through art began when I started drawing my self-portraits in my early 20s. I wanted to see myself in a way a mirror could not show me. What started as an experiment became the direction for my art: I became my own model, and the process was so emotional, intimate and self-revealing that through the rawness of being naked in my own drawings, I saw my true self. I didn't expect to feel sensual, but I saw my sensuality blossom in a way that brought me to my core self, and I began to feel a sense of home in my own body.
I then knew that my artistic path is to capture sensuality through the female form. All I wanted was to draw and keep exploring this beautiful energy. I felt both full and hungry at the same time. The creative drive to dig deep and express sensuality is powerful.
My hope is to inspire women to embrace the beauty of their sexual energy and to own their sensual power.
My art is still a work in progress, but it is a journey I love. I like to combine emotion with imagination, creating a dream-like sensual world through line work and color. I mainly like to mix media in my art pieces, such as watercolor, acrylics, colored pencil, and pastels. Currently I'm experimenting with micron pens and a little watercolor. I also use Illustrator.
Thank you so much for reading a little bit about me and my process!
If you'd like to stay updated, I invite you to sign up to my newsletter to receive new erotic artworks and poems. You can also follow me on instagram, but I don't invest too much of my time posting on there due to their censorship. Thank you again!
